Men's Tasman II
Eighteen pairs in stock, from 55 to 120 euros. The UGG department sees the most activity from November onward, and not because of the cold: sheepskin slippers are bought when people start spending more time at home, and for a few years now they have also been worn outside - to do the grocery shopping, walk the dog, over a visible sock.
Tasman, twelve pairs out of eighteen
This is the model that took the UGG slipper out of the house: the embroidered trim across the instep and the proper rubber sole that holds up on asphalt. We carry twelve versions for women and men, from 70 to 112 euros. The Tasman II is the classic sheepskin version, in Chestnut, Rocky Oak, Sand Dark Cherry and Dusted Cocoa. The Tasman Maxi Curly at 72 euros has long, curly fleece and is the warmest. The men's Tasman Lug, at 90 euros, has a lug sole: it's the one for outdoors. The Baxter at 75 euros suits everyone.
Tazz, the platform version
The same embroidered trim as the Tasman, but with a raised sole. Three pairs: the Tazz II Plateau in Chestnut and the Tazz II Platform in Rocky Oak at 120 euros, and the Tazz Plains with an animal print at 112. The platform changes the proportions: those who choose it usually wear it with wide-leg jeans, not leggings.
The others
The Disquette at 60 euros is the lightest, in suede with a low platform; the men's Classic Micro at 80 euros is a closed slipper without a strap; the Fonda at 55 euros is the entry price for the department.
Which size to choose
The rule here differs from other UGG models, and this is the mistake we see most often. Classic and Ultra Mini styles fit generously, so you should size down in those. Not Tazz and Tasman: the embroidered trim across the instep is not elastic and makes them harder to put on, especially if you have a high instep. The safest advice is to stay with your usual size, and size down only if you are a half size - UGG does not produce half sizes in sheepskin. Do not go down a full size: it is the number one reason for returns on these two models.
The complete US, UK and EU conversion chart is in the UGG size guide. If you are between sizes, contact us before ordering: we'll help you choose and avoid a return.
Where to look next
The rest of the brand is in the complete UGG selection, divided into women's and men's; the Lo and Lowmel are the sheepskin sneakers, with a more regular fit. If you are comparing multiple brands, the slippers page puts them all together.
Questions we are often asked
Can they be worn outdoors? Tasman, Tazz and Tasman Lug have rubber soles and were designed for it. Fonda and Classic Micro are more suited to wearing at home.
Are they authentic? We are an authorized UGG retailer: every pair arrives with its box and tag.
Shipping? Free above 149 euros.
What if the size is wrong? Thirty days for a free return.
Can I try them on? Yes: order online and pick up in the boutique, or visit us in Roccapiemonte, in the province of Salerno.
We have a dedicated page for the Tasman - the best-selling model in the family, with its braided embroidery and proper sole.
