Casadei is a brand from San Mauro Pascoli, in Romagna, founded in 1958 and famed for the Blade heel, a steel blade beneath the pump. We carry Blade styles in our boutique, but the largest part of the selection today is sneakers, starting with the Nexus line. For winter, there are the Double Face boots.

The entire Casadei shoe selection is also available at our boutique in Roccapiemonte (SA), about 20 minutes from Salerno and around 13 from Cava de' Tirreni. You can come in to try the Blade heel or the fit of the Nexus sneakers, or order online with free boutique pickup: your order is usually ready in about an hour during opening hours.

Pumps with the Blade heel

The Blade heel is made of steel, thin as a blade. On the classic Blade, it is 100 mm high, with a hidden 10 mm platform under the forefoot. We have it in nappa leather and in the Minorca version in white nappa leather, ideal for a special occasion. The black patent leather Blade Tiffany has an 80 mm heel and is the easiest to wear. Alongside it are the Panthera and Samurai.

Sneakers: Nexus and beyond

Nexus is the Casadei sneaker line we carry in the greatest number of styles: in white leather, python-print calfskin in the Basilisco version, and in the Rigel and Hanoi styles in vegan leather. For a little extra height, there's the Lace-Up Wedge in suede and the white Off Road with a platform sole. The High Box is in suede.

The Double Face boots

The Double Face boots can be worn two ways, with the shaft up or folded down. The High Boots are made of calf suede, with an 80 mm heel and a rubber sole. The New Double Face have an internal 80 mm wedge that's hidden from view, and a lug sole.

What size to choose

Casadei uses Italian sizing, including half sizes, and doesn't publish a single conversion chart: when a style fits differently than usual, the brand notes this, and we include it on the product page. If you're between sizes, contact us before ordering.
