Dr. Martens 2976 Chelsea Boots in Ambassador Leather
The men's Dr. Martens we carry in the boutique are half low-top styles. Leading the selection are the Adrian loafers, followed by the 1460 boots, the 2976 Chelsea boots and the Brookline Chukka. All feature yellow stitching and the air-cushioned sole.
Low-top styles: Adrian and Lowell
- Adrian — the loafer with tassels and kiltie fringe, introduced in the 1970s. We carry it in polished Polished leather, waxed Orleans leather that changes tone with wear, Arcadia and Ambassador. The Ben Tassel version has double tassels.
- Lowell and Moc Toe — a stitched moccasin toe on a lace-up shoe, with the BEN lug sole. The Lowell is made from caramel-coloured Orleans leather.
- Mayfare 3 Eye — the three-eyelet lace-up, the cleanest style in the selection.
1460 boots
The 1460 is the 8-eyelet boot introduced on 1 April 1960, and its name comes from the date. We carry it in Smooth leather, the classic style with a polished finish, and Ambassador leather, tumbled and softer, which becomes even more supple with wear. The Pascal Ambassador version has no padded collar and features a cleaner silhouette. All versions, including women's sizes, are on the Dr. Martens 1460 page.
2976 Chelsea boots and Brookline Chukka
The 2976 is the laceless ankle boot with an elasticated ankle panel, produced since the 1970s and presented here in Ambassador leather. The Brookline Chukka is a three-eyelet ankle boot in soft leather, comfortable from the first day.
Which size to choose
Dr. Martens are available only in whole UK sizes and fit true to size. If you wear a half size, go down to the nearest whole size: the leather gives slightly as it breaks in. The Adrian fits true to size, with a short break-in period across the instep. Full details, including the UK, EU and US size chart, are in the Dr. Martens size guide.
The rest of the selection
All loafers are on the Dr. Martens loafers page. Explore the rest of the brand in the full Dr. Martens selection; to compare with other brands, browse the men's shoes.
