The VEJA Panenka Suede Taupe combine football heritage and urban culture in a sneaker with a retro yet contemporary character.

The suede upper is complemented by suede inserts and organic-tanned leather (O.T.), creating a refined interplay of textures. The lining is made from 100% recycled polyester, while the laces are made from 100% organic cotton.

The insole combines 11% Amazonian rubber, 45% bio-based E.V.A. — 36% of which is derived from sugar cane — 13% recycled E.V.A., 5% organic cotton, and 26% other materials. The outsole is composed of 40% Amazonian rubber, 23% mineral silica, 10% recycled rubber, 11% synthetic rubber, and 16% other materials.

The suede comes from farms in Rio Grande do Sul and is tanned in Brazil without the use of hazardous or prohibited chemicals. VEJA uses dyes that comply with regulations and pays close attention to water consumption during the tanning process. The suede is also treated with PFC-free water-repellent oils, designed to protect the shoe from light rain.
