The VEJA Panenka Suede Militar Pierre Bark blend football-inspired design and urban culture in a sneaker with a retro, contemporary character.

The suede upper is paired with suede inserts and leather with an organic tanning process (O.T.), creating a refined contrast of textures. The lining is made from 100% recycled polyester, while the laces are made from 100% organic cotton.

The insole combines 11% Amazonian rubber, 45% bio-based E.V.A. — 36% of which is derived from sugarcane — 13% recycled E.V.A., 5% organic cotton, and 26% other materials. The outsole contains 40% Amazonian rubber, 23% mineral silica, 10% recycled rubber, 11% synthetic rubber, and 16% other materials.

The suede comes from farms in Rio Grande do Sul and is tanned in Brazil without using hazardous or banned chemicals. VEJA uses dyes that comply with regulations and limits water consumption during the tanning process. The suede is also treated with PFC-free water-repellent oils, designed to protect the shoe from light rain.
