Vanilla, twice
Accident a la Vanille, 159 euros, is the house's most representative fragrance: real, unsweetened vanilla. There is a second interpretation, Madeleine de Proust, at the same price, which turns the same note toward memory - freshly baked cake instead of the pod.
The rest of the pastry shop
Ciao Bello Pistachio at 159 euros is an open tribute to Italian pastry, and the one that makes passers-by stop and turn their heads in the boutique. Le Gourmand, also 159 euros, is the fullest and sweetest of the five. Gourmand Bakhoor, at 109 euros, is the most interesting: it takes sweetness toward bakhoor, the Arabic incense, so it ends up smokier than it begins. It is also the entry-level price.
