What to give your mother without guessing her size

When you give shoes or a coat, you have to guess the size; with a bag, you don't. That's why almost everything here is one size: bags, scarves and stoles, wallets and card holders, jewelry, fragrances, creams, and home accessories. The only shoes are slippers, and only in styles we have in almost every size.

Bags

Everyday styles: the Miss Marcella and DUA by Gianni Chiarini in suede, the woven Santa Croce by Dragon Diffusion, the leather bag by Emporio Armani, and the Love Bag by Pinko. Scarves, stoles and shawls

The Twinset viscose scarf, the Marella viscose-blend stole, the Copenhagen wool-blend shawl, the Emporio Armani virgin-wool scarf, and the Twinset square wool-blend scarf. Fragrance, only if you know what she wears

A fragrance makes a good gift when you start with what she already wears—in other words, the same fragrance family. If she loves florals, there are floral fragrances, such as Veil Rose by Pesade; if she prefers something sweet, try the vanilla by Jousset. If you're not sure, a cream is a better choice: Ortigia's prickly pear body cream and bergamot hand cream, or Bianco Latte by Giardini di Toscana. Fragrances and creams can only be returned if they are still sealed.

For the home

If you're not familiar with her taste, choose something for the home, a stole, a cream or a mug: gifts that require neither a size nor an opinion about her style.

Gift wrapping, gift cards and returns

What should I give my mother if I don't know her size?

When should I order to receive it on time?

Orders confirmed by 12 p.m., Monday through Friday, are usually dispatched the same day. In Italy, Standard shipping takes 1-3 business days and Express takes 1-2; delivery times may be longer around Christmas. Orders are ready for pickup at our Roccapiemonte boutique in about an hour during opening hours.
