UGG Disquette Suede and Shearling Slides with Platform
UGG platform styles are classic models set on a high sole. The most sought-after is the Classic Ultra Mini with a platform sole, featuring an 8.9 cm shaft on a 5.1 cm sole. Alongside it are the Tazz and Disquette slippers and the Heritage lace-up shoe.
How much height each model adds
| Model | Design | Platform |
|---|---|---|
| Classic Ultra Mini Platform | ankle boot, 8.9 cm shaft | 5.1 cm |
| Tazz II and Tazz Botanic | closed-toe slipper | 4.4 cm |
| Heritage | lace-up shoe lined with sheepskin | 4.4 cm |
| Disquette | open-back slipper with a sheepskin collar | 2.54 cm |

Which size to choose
It depends on the model, not the platform. On the Classic Ultra Mini, the wool compresses and the boot stretches: choose your usual size or, between two sizes, the smaller one. The Tazz runs slightly large: choose your usual size or half a size smaller. For Disquette and Heritage, our guide does not yet have a specific recommendation, so write to us before ordering. The complete chart is in the UGG size guide.
Boot or slipper
The Ultra Mini Platform covers the ankle and is the one to wear in December. You can also find it among the UGG Ultra Mini styles, together with the low-sole version. The Tazz slips on without using your hands and takes you from autumn through spring: all versions are included in the UGG Tazz selection. If you are looking for a slightly higher shaft without a platform, explore the Classic Mini styles.

Frequently asked questions
How high is the platform on the UGG Ultra Mini Platform?
The platform is 5.1 cm high and the shaft is 8.9 cm. It is the highest among the UGG platform styles we have in the boutique: the Tazz and Heritage lace-up shoe reach 4.4 cm, while the Disquette reaches 2.54 cm.
Which is better, the Ultra Mini Platform or the Tazz?
It depends on when you wear them. The Ultra Mini Platform is an ankle boot that covers the ankle, so it keeps you warmer during the colder months. The Tazz is a closed-toe slipper: it slips on and off without using your hands and can be worn for longer throughout the year.
What size should I choose for UGG platform styles?
Choose according to the model, because the platform does not change the fit. For the Classic Ultra Mini, choose your usual size or, between two sizes, the smaller one. For the Tazz, choose your usual size or half a size smaller. For Disquette and Heritage, write to us before ordering.
Are the platforms heavy?
Less than they look. The soles of these models are made from EVA, a lightweight foam: the Tazz II and Ultra Mini Platform use sugarcane-based EVA.
