UGG Women's Classic Mini Deconstructed unlined leather boots
The Classic Mini is the mid-height UGG boot. Depending on the version, the shaft measures from 12.7 to 14 cm: taller than the Ultra Mini, which stops at 8.9 cm, yet low enough to wear under straight-leg jeans.
The versions we carry in the boutique
- Classic Mini II — the core model, updated with two new features: it is pretreated against water and stains and has a lightweight Treadlite sole. 14 cm shaft.
- Classic Mini Heritage — smooth suede, 17 mm shearling, exposed shearling seams and a removable boot-shaped charm. 12.7 cm shaft.
- Classic Mini Deconstructed — unlined leather with a 10 mm shearling insole and rubber sole. It is the lightest of the three and can also be worn at the beginning and end of the season.
Which size to choose
The wool in Classic boots compresses during the first few weeks, and the boot loosens. Choose your usual size and, between two sizes, the smaller one. The exception is the Deconstructed, which does not have a shearling lining: if you have a wide foot or a high instep, the size guide recommends going up half a size or one full size. The chart is in the UGG size guide.
Mini or Ultra Mini
Only the height changes. The Ultra Mini leaves the ankle exposed and works well with cropped trousers or leggings. The Mini covers it and offers better protection in genuinely cold weather. The Ultra Mini styles, including the platform version, are part of the UGG Ultra Mini collection. Boots with a higher sole can be found among the UGG platform styles.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between UGG Mini and Ultra Mini?
The shaft height. The Classic Mini measures from 12.7 to 14 cm and covers the ankle, while the Ultra Mini stops at 8.9 cm. The fit and sizing rule are the same.
What is the difference between Classic Mini and Classic Mini II?
The Mini II is the updated version. It is pretreated to resist water and stains and has a Treadlite sole, which is lighter and more cushioned. The shape and height remain those of the Classic Mini.
What size should I choose for UGG Classic Mini?
Choose your usual size and, between two sizes, the smaller one: the wool compresses and the boot loosens with wear. With the unlined leather Deconstructed, however, a wide foot is better accommodated by going up half a size or one full size.
Can they be worn in the rain?
The Classic Mini II is pretreated against water and stains and can handle light rain. Untreated suede versions are sensitive to water: if they get wet, leave them to dry away from the radiator, then brush them.
